“Come” he (Jesus) said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. Matthew 14:29
This site aims to envision individuals, couples and families for learning and serving across cultures by allowing some of our short-term workers to share from their ‘travel logs’. As you embark on your journey in mission we hope that the resources found here will provide insight to the possibilities for short-term service that is partnered with long-term organizational commitment in some very hard places.
Some of the short-term participants we have recently placed include: medical students in internships and electives, pediatricians, educators grades pre-K to 12, agricultural engineers, architects, undergrad and graduate internships and practicums, social workers, internal medicine doctors, gap year students, teaching doctors, business professionals, infectious disease doctors, teachers of English as a second language, nurses, physical therapists, language students, graphic artists, administrators, photographers, accountants, videographers, marketing and communications staff, generalist doctors, student teachers, youth workers, pharmacists, occupational therapists, development specialists and micro-finance professionals. And, we are able to place individuals in many other fields and specialties.
Those interested in cross-cultural ministry must be willing to take a risk, like Peter, in obedience to Christ. We hope that this site will help you take the next step in your journey as you consider ‘living out grace’ in life and service abroad.
